Can Motion Capture Detect Disease Before Symptoms Appear?
The shift in how someone walks, how they bear weight, how their knee tracks as they move, can begin years before a person feels any pain from disease. But without a practical way to measure those changes at scale, the medical system has largely had to wait for people to show up with symptoms. That's the gap this research is trying to close.
